Mr. Dilip Bhatt
Young children are like diamonds and like every diamond crystal they are unique. Just as diamond cutters polishers and sculptors, who know their tools and materials can create a magnificent diamond from a cold and rough stone; Intuitive, experienced and skillful teachers chisel their students and create multifaceted personalities according to their potentials.
The school journey from an impressionable stage to the poised stage is parallel to the process of a diamond crystal changing shapes from a rough, lifeless stone to a dazzling marvel. Human touch is the catalyst in this transformation.
The school environment plays a vital role in shaping a child’s personality just as the cut of a diamond determines the diamond’s overall appearance. Classroom interaction, group activities, assemblies, field trips, bulletin board ideas, lessons on the sports ground, house activities etc. incessantly polish the child’s facets to realize the potential value just like that of a finished diamond.
Of course every step requires precision and careful consideration. Throughout the polishing process the diamond cutters constantly stop and check the quality of the facets. School’s continuous and comprehensive evaluation does the same to ascertain the learning patterns and quality-check a child’s journey towards being a multifaceted personality.
The end result for both the diamond and the child is a spectacular display of brilliance, fire and scintillation.
